Boy's Brigade

B.B History
William Alexander Smith founded The Boy's Brigade on the 4th of october 1883. The company is 1st glasgow at Free Church Mission Hall,North Woodside Road,Glasgow.
It was the first uniformed youth organisation in the world,William Smith a Sunday school teacher and officer of 1st lanark Rifle volunteers.

Sure & Stedfast, Hebrews6:19 The biblical spelling of stedfast has been retained as found in the King James Version.

The advancement of christ's kingdom, among members, and the promotion of habits of, obedience,reverence,discipline,self-respert and all that tends, towards a true christian manliness.

The em-blem of The Boy'Brigade It helps us on our way,

Our fa-ther's knew in days gone by This sign we know to-day

That's our watch word when trouble and trials are near

"sure and sted-fast" to the flag that flies a-bove

In all that we do we'll try to be true To the An-chor that we love.
